NBARC will have a shortage of operators this year, so the planned participation in Field Day has been postponed to a future year.

2009 CANWARN Training - North Bay

An evening of severe weather training with Environment Canada's Peter Kimbell.
CANWARN is training targeted at weather spotters who are ham radio operators (although anyone with communications capabilities is welcome to attend).

Ken and Mike will be operating from "the Barn". All are welcome to visit and operate. Times: April 18th 1800Z -> 0500Z, April 19th 1200Z -> 1800Z.
In the contest, stations outside Ontario make as many contacts with Ontario amateur radio stations as possible. Ontario stations contact as many amateur radio stations as possible both in Ontario and world-wide. See the full set of rules for the contest exchange, frequencies, modes and categories.
