2012 Summer In The Park

Well our annual multi-day event is over!
Thanks to Bruce VA3BDR, Chris VA3CMX, Howard VE3GMG, Drew VE3MAF, and Dan VE3YUI we had all the help we needed for the three days of the festival. Also to Wanda VE3KOJ for the use of her cellphone, and Evelyn VE3MAA who assisted with the setup earlier in the week.
Friday was a typical festival day with minor issues and lots of traffic back and forth between all parties.
Saturday was the busiest, with heat issues taking a toll on the attendees after noon, then an hour or so of weather that evening when a front came out of nowhere to drown the Meatloaf (and it didn't use gravy).
On Sunday we had an hour or so with no power, but the UPS kept the server operating, and the radio laptop's battery hung in there so we could enter information. We had 4 portable radios operating the command post during the outage.
The club's tower trailer behaved well during the storm, and made the journey both ways from Drew's place after the tire was pumped up. It held air for a couple days, but the slow leak is still there.
