Son of the late J.W. and Toots Spooner (Timmins). Predeceased by infant daughter and son. Beloved husband of 58 years Joan Spooner (nee: Wert) of Chalk River. Loving father of Christopher Spooner (late Lynne) of Greely, Jennifer (Ken) Potvin of Timmins and Jeff Spooner of Chalk River. Also survived by 2 Granddaughters and 2 Great - Grandchildren. Dear brother of Sister Sheila Anna Spooner of North Bay (Sisters of St. Joseph, SSM). Also survived by brother-in-law Garry (wife Carole) Wert of Ingleside and nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, Deep River on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Anthony Catholic Church, Chalk River on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Followed by Cremation.
