Hello everybody, we've been asked to delay by an hour, due to a large group arriving earlier.
So lets plan for 7:30 pm instead of 6:30.
Sorry for the change in plans, but it should make for a smoother experience.
If you can let me know if your plans to attend have changed, I would appreciate it.
So far it looks like there will be about 10 attending.
The weather is calling for a couple of centimeters of snow tomorrow.

The majority wants to get together on the 15th at the Beef n Brand - aim for 6:30 p.m.
We will be ordering off the menu. Here is a link to their website. http://www.beefnbrand.ca/
Please let me know prior to this Friday if you will be attending, so I can arrange for seating.
Thanks in advance. There will also be a suitably decorated gift box available for the
Santa Fund should you wish to donate a bit of Christmas Cheer.

Well, we weren't able to get things organized for a meeting in November, but I asked at the Beef n Brand Restaurant
if they could accommodate us for a Christmas get together if we order off the menu.
I've put together a poll, so you can vote on the two dates, or send me a message if you are interested in attending.
Their website is http://www.beefnbrand.ca should you want to look up the available menu items.
Some of us have been regulars for their Clam Chowder soup on Fridays at lunchtime.

Still looking for a couple (or 3) more people to help out with the Canoe Race on July 23rd.
Checkpoint #1 (Closest to North Bay) will finish about 11:00
Checkpoint #2 (Canoe in from rest area) will finish about 14:00
Checkpoint #3 (in Samuel de Champlain Prov Park) will finish about 17:00
We will be using the Mattawa Repeater 147.15+ for coordination.
Finish usually wraps up at 18:00, no meal this year, so you can leave directly from your spot.
If you can help out, please send me a note, or give me a call.
Thanks and 73 Paul, VA3PC
If anyone is interested in either of the two rigs, please drop Gil a line at his e-mail address.
I am sure that he would be pleased to know that Jack's rigs would be in use in
the North Bay area. 73 Paul, VA3PC
