1. CANWARN Training May 1-7
CANWARN training will be offered on the following dates:
	Huron County, May 1, 7 PM, Bayfield Community Centre, Municipality of
	Bluewater, 4 Jane Street, Bayfield
	Toronto, May 3, 9 AM, Environment Canada Headquarters, 4905 Dufferin
	St.
	Toronto, May 7, 7 PM, Environment Canada Headquarters, 4905 Dufferin
	St.
	Please RSVP by email to geoff.coulson (at) ec.gc.ca with the session
	you plan on attending.
	Also, if you know of any repeaters that are used in your area for
	CANWARN weather events, please email Ward Kennedy, ve3wgk (at)
	hotmail.com, with the frequency, known PL tone and call sign.

2. Young Ham of the Year Nominations
	Nominations are now open for the 2014 Amateur Radio Newsline Young
	Ham of the Year Award. This award recognizes the achievements of a
	radio amateur age 19 or younger. Nominees must reside in the
	United States or Canada.
	Complete details, rules and a required nominating form in Microsoft
	Word format are available on the website at www.arnewsline.org/yhoty.
	Nominations must be received by May 30.

3. CK3UG50 Special Event
	From May 1 to May 31, special event station CK3UG50 will commemorate
	the 50th anniversary of the University of Guelph. QSL via VE3ZUP.

4. International Museums Weekends
	You, your club, and your local museum are invited to take part in the
	International Museums Weekends, the third and fourth weekends in
	June. The goal is to set up amateur radio special event stations at
	as many museums as possible worldwide.
	Stations can be set up from any type of location which might be
	broadly classified as a museum, such as air, railway, radio,
	agricultural and doll museums. Even entities such as preserved jails
	and warships will qualify. To register for the event, or for more
