A reminder: RAC will have its Annual General Meeting in British
Columbia associated with the Pacific Northwest DX Conference from
July 25 to 27 of this year. For more information about the conference
visit tinyurl.com/orca2014dx.

For those who cannot attend in person, we will again have an

4. No Young Ham of the Year

There will be no Amateur Radio Newsline Young Ham of the Year Award
presented in 2014. According to Chairman Mark Abramowicz, NT3V, the
judging committee decided to defer making an award this year due to
the low number of nominees. This is not a reflection on the quality
of the nominations they did receive; merely that more nominations and
documentation would be needed to make a fair determination. Right
now the plan is to open nominations again in February of 2015.
