Minutes  of NBARC Meeting for  14th October 2015
 
In attendance were; VE3LOR, VE3YO, VE3TGI, VE3GMG, VE3XKB, VE3YUI, VA3CMX,VE3SPT,
 Executive   regrets VA3PC, VA3BDR, VE3MAF
 Called to order at 1940 EDT.
 Under the Leadership of our Vice President Christopher May
 Minutes: on the web and no errors or omissions were reported

Correspondence: nil

New members:   nil
Treasurer: no report :  treasurer absent
 Nets: 80M : Gerry reported last Sunday was 8 but the Sunday before was 14
 2-meter net: no net, still looking for  a moderator

 Echolink/IRLP: Appear to be working well.     

Web Site:  VE3NBC.CA up and running okay
Aries:  City North Bay Table talk exercise on 20th Oct running from   9:00 to 12 noon

RAC: Covered in bulletins. Check the website.

Contest Club: nil

 
There was some talk about the retiring trailer  still some stuff to clean-up.
Other discussions were on the grab-and-go stuff encluding Tmv-71 dual band radio worth $420.00 and other things all would total $1500.00
 
New Busness:  Nil
Chris May gave report on  “OFF-the-Grid”  okay, no one got lost, trailer worked well and the food was good.
Dan Magill did a presentation on the internet screen on a radio book he has subscribed to that gives access to the book on the internet.
Bill Silver gave a presentation on the Hospital walk and was asking for 4 or more volunteers to sign up on the web site
the event is this Sunday 18th October check point are to gather as early as 08:30 Parking in the west corner of the Hospital grounds
Meeting was adjoured by Howard at  20:00 EDT
Gerry gave a presentation on the Waccom Min-8900 dual band Radio small enough for the grab-and-go bag
