IRLP outage Sept 20-21st

The outage for the past day or so was caused by an IRLP software update.  The fix was released back in April, but the problem would only show up when the node was rebooted.  Guess what.  I rebooted it yesterday and the problem showed up.  I guess I've never rebooted it since the update was pushed out by IRLP last year.
Hopefully it is now working. The symptom was that it showed offline on the IRLP status pages due to an issue with the soundcard being detected incorrectly.  It now shows "idle" so I guess the fix worked. Not bad for troubleshooting remotely from a motel room in Kapuskasing.
