NBARC Meeting September 12, 2012

Called to order by Bill at 1935ET

Treasurer report. Net $3681.78. Mattawa Canoe Race $150.00

Correspondence: Mattawa River Canoe Race thank you. E-mail from Judy Fraser. Donating equipment to club. Note from Revenue Canada. We don't owe any $$.

New hams/members: Nil

Nets: 80mtr about the same.

Repeaters: Still working as they should. The time is still drifting. Still working on a fix.

Echolink/IRLP: Still working well.

Website: Still working well. The poll for the Christmas Party Dinner is on the website. Log in and pick a date. Please use the website to sign up for events. It makes it much easier on the coordinators.

ARES: Back at my place.

Hamfest: York Regional November 3, 2012. There are a few of us going. There may be a seat available.

Contest Club: Nil

RAC: Paul gave a report. Check the website for more.

Events: Field Day. Doug gave a short report.
ARES SET October 13,14 2012. We are going to participate. We need participants. Sign up on the web site.
CANADA DAY CONTEST: Paul was mobile on his way to the east coast and worked a number of stations with Wanda logging.
Triathlon: Went well. Weather was good and good number of volunteers.
LOTR: Went well. Only lost one person then they were found. Looking at getting a pop up shelter. Bill VE3TGI to research.
Mattawa Canoe Race: Went well is spite of radio problems.
SITP: Was fine. No real problems. Weather cancelled the concert Saturday night.
Run off the Grid: September 29th 2012. 0800ET – 1600ET. Need volunteers. Please sign up on the web site.
Hospital Run: Sunday October 14th, 2012. Need volunteers. Please sign up on the web site.

Old Business: Nil.

New Business: Keeling donated 10x10 shelter.

The next meeting is Wednesday October 10th, 2012. I will be enjoying myself at the cottage on georgian Bay so won't be attending. Someone else will have to play scribe.
