A great weekend!

Body:

The past Field Day weekend was a fantastic experience for all participating. Special thanks go to each one of you, and especially to Paul, Bruce, and Bill for their special efforts in making it such a success. Everyone there helped make this a very successful event in some way.

There was lots of comradery and fun, with many radio contacts being made across North America. Each person had the opportunity to get on the air or log the call. The food was super thanks to Bill, chef extrordinaire.

FIELD DAY IS HERE

Body:

Good Friday morning,

Field day weekend is here. Some last minute reminder/needs.... bring a coffee mug to save on the recycle/garbage stuff.

Also, any extra long 110v extension cords, and any lengths of coax with connectors to act as extensions will be greatly appreciated. We will need to run a few hundred feet in each case.

Looking forward to a good weekend... see you soon.

Final Field Day Notes

We are really looking forward to a great weekend! The weather appears to be promising fair conditions, and the bands are not too bad, although 80 seems a bit ‘rocky’ during the day.

The menu is set for a relaxed BBQ style campout time:
Saturday lunch - BBQ - hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken burgers etc.
Saturday supper - BBQ chicken, potato, grilled vegetables, salad.
Saturday overnight snacks - fruit, cookies, coffee, etc. and leftovers.
Sunday breakfast - bacon or sausages, eggs/cheese/onions/peppers chef special
Sunday lunch - same as Saturday lunch.
