09-10 (October 14) Meeting Report

Regular monthly meeting at the Airport Firehall Training Room. Called to order @ 19:37 Introductions Correspondence: - Vicki - North Bay General Hospital Walk/Run 5/10k Sunday 18th October this will be a half day event. Paul, Dan, Gerry, Bruce and Henry have volunteered. - New South River repeater. 146.97- 100HzPL website is ve3uru.com linked permanently to many other repeaters. Will be linked to Alban 146.70- in a week or so. 2 Metre net: low number of checkins this Monday (possibly due to holiday). HF net: averages 10-12 checkins per day. Repeaters: appears that NBC-15 is off the air. Paul or Bill will check it out. Bill will also try and get info about wiring harness for APRS gateway to Paul or Gerry. Website: "What's New" now on the menu. Shows latest postings. ARES: The trailer is now at Drew's. New Tires. New Generator Cover, New Paint. CEMPC meeting this Thursday, and Sector EMO meeting next week. Hamfest: 24 October - Markham - Drew and Crew to attend (call VE3MAF for seat availability). Contesting: CQWW the same weekend.
