In attendance were; VA3BDR, VE3YO, VA3PC, VE3XKB, VE3YUI, VA3CMX, VE3LQV, VE3DLJ, VE3TGI, VE3MAF, VE3GMG, VA3SPT, VE3ATK.
 
Called to order at 1940ET.
 
Correspondence: Thank you for our participation in the hospital run.
 
Treasurer: nil
 
NET: 80M still working well.
 
Repeater: Paul put the new clock module into VE3ERX. It is set to UTC. Let Paul know how the time is doing. Running fast/slow/ok. It is set to announce at hh+55. If you want to check it try *0.
 
Echolink/IRLP: Still working well.
 
Website: Still working well. Had a couple of comments. A 'TRAILER' button has been added. You don't have to be logged in to view the info, just to comment.
 
ARES: nil.
 
Hamfests: Markham (York Regional) Hamfest. Nov. 1st. Well attended.
 
Contest Club: nil.
 
RAC: Paul gave a report. Check the website for more.
 
TRILLIUM Committee: Doug gave a report. Drew gave a report on our trip to visit VIA trailers in Bolton.
Worked on a mission statement for the club.
 
Motion by Rick. The Trillium Committee is charged to use the available information in the NBARC website preamble and the objectives of the constitution to formulate a mission statement for NBARC. Seconded by Butch. Carried.
 
Old Business: Hospital Run. Went well. No one got lost. Numbers were down.
Christmas Party. It will be a Tuesday night at Guido and Arlene's they are normally open on Thursdays. Dec 2, 9. Menu and cost similar to last year Paul will put a poll on the website. (Look under 'Recent posts') The poll will close November 23rd, 2014.
 
Elections: Chris gave an update on the by-laws and constitution re elections.
Motion by Doug. Make a slate of 6 (six) directors for election. Seconded by Butch. Carried.
Motion by Dan. January 14th, 2015 be the AGM for 2015. Seconded by Bill. Carried.
Motion by Chris. Election committee will submit a list of nominees for consideration. Additional nominations will be accepted from the floor at large. Any nominees must agree to let their name stand for election. Seconded by Doug. Carried.
Ballot will be by secret ballot.
Motion by Chris. Immediately following the election the directors will meet to determine the officers. Seconded by Butch. Carried.
 
In the new year we will be reviewing the by-laws and constitution.
 
Bill needs club sponsorship to attend the IMS-300 course. The club will sponsor him.
