Sunday October 14, 2018 morning event, followed by a bowl of Chili.
Muster at the hospital (146.52 will be the frequency for talk in) at 08:30 or go directly to your point for 09:30 (the start of the trail run).
We have to track the runners on the trail to ensure there are no injuries.
We should have three or four stations to cover the event.
Thanks in advance.

Please bring a lunch as this has been difficult in the past
logistically. Dinner will be served at the start/finish. It is catered
by gd2go , and is always very, very good!
Please dress appropriately for the forecast weather (cool, chance of rain). Also, our hosts have encouraged an extremely environmental event and as such request that we bring our own mess kits for dinner. Plate, bowl, cup and utensils please :)
Hello fine people.
The NBMCA Canoe race is coming up on Saturday. We have two volunteers signed up. A few more would be really nice.
We need Checkpoint one - for a few hours in the morning (cross band repeat is a bonus for that location),
and Checkpoint three in the Provincial Park (until 17:00 or thereabouts). Chris VA3CMX has indicated he will do checkpoint two.
I'd like to meet at Tim's Seymour at 07:30.
If you can bring a lunch, Dinner will be provided at the Arena post race awards banquet.
Hi All,
I would like to thank the following people for helping out at the third annual Hike for Hospice:
Drew VE3MAF, for manning the base station;
Keeling VE3XKB, Gerry VE3YO, Chris VE3YYB, Scott VA3EPZ, and Jim VE3JGH, for manning checkpoints;
and Paul VA3PC and Wanda VE3 KOJ, for being the rovers.
With your help, everyone made it out of the woods safely. The event raised well over $80,000 for Nipissing Serenity Hospice. The current plan is for the sod-turning ceremony to occur on June 15th of this year.

The 2018 Hike for Hospice event will be on May 6 in Laurier Woods. This is an opportunity for people to enjoy the beauty of Nature! We need 7-8 volunteers and have four people so far. If you are able to help out, please sign up at the NBARC website or contact me at kethren2004@yahoo.ca.
