Its coming up, and we have to make a decision in the next week or so.
Right now we have only 3 people indicating interest in participating in Field Day.
Please log into the site and indicate if you will be coming out - either vote in the poll on the main page,
or click on the event and indicate your attendance ( or both! ).
The decision has to be made before the June meeting in order to do the planning, and secure the permits.

Paul has fixed the APRS iGate. The problem was a 16VAC ripple over top of the 12VDC on the power supply.

I wanted to thank everyone who participated in this event, specifically Paul VA3PC, Gerry VE3YO, Howard VE3GMG, Bill VE3TGI, Keeling VE3XKB and Drew VE3MAF. This was only the second time we have done this event and we are still working out the bugs. Please bring any suggestions for improvements to our May meeting. I know we can't control the weather (Snow in May!!!), but there are things we can change.

Extra thanks go to Bill for creating and printing out copies of the SMEAC document with map, and for picking up, setting up and returning the equipment used at our base.
