The November NBARC meeting was held Wednesday November 11, 2009. In attendance were VA3BDR, VA3PC, VE3MAF, VE3MAA, VE3XKB, VE3YO, VE3KAA, VE3SCN, VA3WAC and a guest Steve Hutchinson. 1) Paul VA3PC mentioned that Dean Bottrell VE3NHT from Port Loring is a Silent Key. 2) Bob Taylor VE3YS and Bud Pearce VE3JHI are under the weather. We wish them well. 3) RAC: Paul read a couple of notes from RAC regarding leadership changes at HQ. He has posted them on the website. 4) NETS: 80M net is having about 10-12 check-ins. 5) ARES: Nothing really to report. The trailer is parked back at my place.
It is my sad duty to report the passing of: William Cecil Kitto KITTO, Rev. Dr. William Cecil - Peacefully on Tuesday October 13th, 2009, in North Bay, Ontario, in his 99th year. Bill was predeceased by Thelma, his wife of 68 years. He was the loving father of Barbara Babcock and her husband John of Wiarton, and of Rick Kitto and his wife Susan of London. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Andy Pugliesi, of New Orleans, Carl Pugliesi and his wife Aileen of Owen Sound, Karen Kitto and her husband Mike Collins of Chicago, and Rob Kitto, of London.
Regular monthly meeting at the Airport Firehall Training Room. Paul, Dan, Gerry, Bruce and Henry have volunteered. - New South River repeater. 146.97- 100HzPL website is ve3uru.com linked permanently to many other repeaters. Will be linked to Alban 146.70- in a week or so. 2 Metre net: low number of checkins this Monday (possibly due to holiday). HF net: averages 10-12 checkins per day. Repeaters: appears that NBC-15 is off the air.
We had a great meeting on Wednesday. There were 16 hams in attendance and it sure was great to see everyone and catch up after a busy summer. There were a couple of visitors and new hams as well.
1) Henry KD8LWV has moved back to the area at least for a while. It was good to see John VA3MNK from EMO and Bob VE3MF. Mike Aultman, Adam Aultman's VA3AUL father wrote his exam and passed. As of yet he hasn't got a callsign. Well done Mike. ***UPDATE Mike's call is VA3MPR ***

Well its done! (And so am I). The upgrade to the site did not go smooooth.
I did get Drupal to reinstall with minor issues that I have since corrected - and didn't lose any info to boot! (Whew!)
