I am planning to put the BYONICS Order together this weekend. So far I orders from VE3XKB (VE3XMR), VE3YO, VE3GMG, VA3BDR. Let me know what you want by Sunday and I'll put the order in. nbarc@ontera.net or riddell@ontera.net
Just FYI the CANWARN TRAINING was worth it.....
After supper Thursday Sam and I went into town to pick up a couple of his friends. I had to call the SEVERE WEATHER Desk as Sam spotted a waterspout in Lake Nipissing. Lasted a good 3-5 minutes. That's our excitement. What is yours??

If there is anything you want let me know the part number and the cost (so I don't get any great suprises) and I'll order it all at once. I'll start off with Sunday June 7th the Patrick 4 Life Fun Walk/Run. This is an absoutely great event and a very enjoyable one. It was a good day. Not too hot to create problems and cool enough to keep the bugs away. There were about 777 participants registered for the various sections. There were 2K, 5K, 10K and the 1/2 marathon. Our main interest was the 1/2 marathon. This went from Lee Park all the way out the Kate Pace Way to Cranberry Drive and back.

As you know Bill 118 is the anti-cellphone bill being considered by the Ontario Government. Here is the latest update by Peter West VE3HG VP of PR for RAC. As Peter states we need more amateurs to become members of RAC. It looks poor and RAC has a difficult time defending us, in instances such as this, when only a small percentage of the Canadian Amateurs are members of the national organization. I have also included the HAWAII exemption.
The BLOG site also has other interesting information. Take a look.
Our May Meeting is coming up on Wednesday May 13th. NOTE: We are at the OPP COMM CENTRE 1900-2100ET for the CANWARN Training. NOT the usual Fire Hall on base. If you haven't let Paul VA3PC know you are coming please drop him a line so he gets enough coffee. VA3PC@ciinet.org will do it. The COMM CENTRE is the big silver building on your left through the fence when you pull into the back of the OPP site from Goremanville Rd. Looking forward to seeing you there.
