So far I omly have three of us signed up for the Hospital walk / run
Chris VA3C CMX, Bruse VA3BDR and myself Bill VA3SPT.
I need a minmum of 8 people to run this event.
I will talk more about it tonight at the club meeting, but If I can't get more people to sign up very soon I will have to cancel with the hospital.
I am out of town instructing Friday and Saturday and will be returning Sunday for the hospital wlk run so I need to hear from you by Thursday morning.
Hi folks
The Hospital Walk/Run is Sunday October 16th.
This year the routes have been expanded and there will be three differerant corse to follow. This will also mean that we will need extra people to man the different courses.
So if you can help out please let me know.
Well, another SiTP has passed, and thanks to those who helped out with the setup, teardown and operations, NBARC was able to perform its function as liaison between the various groups at the festival. The only casualty this year was the spare tire on the trailer - but don't worry, its only flat on the bottom!
Hello fine people;
Here is the plan for the week:
Monday (after work) - Move the NBARC trailer from Drew's place to the Lee Park office compound next to the Command Post trailer.
Tuesday (after work (16:00 ish)) - Cleanup day - all are welcome.
Wednesday afternoon - Radio base install day.
Thursday (after work) - computer install and network troubleshooting.
Friday morning - we go live!
Saturday/sunday - operational.
Monday morning - Teardown and move the NBARC trailer back to Drew's place.
Hi Folks
It has been another busy week for me. This is the first time this week that I have had anytime to think about and act on the Mattawa River Canoe Race.
so , so far this is what I have lined up:
I still have not received answer to a few of my questions?
late years race?
1) Did we use the repeater or was it simplex?
2) which check point would you like to work at?
Betty and I will be working out of check point 2 or 3 which ever one is not taken.
You will need a truck to get into cp 2... cp 3 I do believe is acessable by car if you are careful.
so far this is what I have set up:
Start / Finish: Drew VE3MAF, Lori VE3LOR,
Check point 1: VE3GMG, VA3BDR

Please bear with me, this is a very busy week for me, both at work and with my fund raising / volunteer efforts.
I do believe as in past years lunch will be provide, BUT, be prepared.... In past years lunch has been late, or has not arrive at a check points due to any number of logistical problems.
Bring snacks and drinks... Be prepared for the weather, fly dope, sun screen, chairs, hat, shelter..... Radios, antennas, batteries and anything else you may need to communicate.
